WELCOME TO GRACE
Anchored in the Word of God. Exalting Christ
At Grace Christian Church, Christ is at the centre of everything we are and everything we do. We are anchored in the truth of God’s Word, transformed by His grace, and committed to growing together as disciples who live for His glory.
These seven foundations express the DNA of Grace Christian Church—who we are, what we believe, and how we seek to live as Christ’s Church. As we grow, our desire is to keep Christ at the centre of His Church, allowing His Word to shape us, His grace to transform us, and His mission to move us outward.
“He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church... that in all things He may have the preeminence.”
— Colossians 1:17–18
-
He is the Centre
Jesus Christ is not simply part of what we do—He is the reason for everything we do.
We desire to keep Christ at the centre of His Church, giving Him the preeminence in our worship, teaching, relationships, decisions, and daily lives. Our focus is not on building a name for ourselves, but on knowing Christ, making Him known, and seeing Him glorified.
-
Anchored in Scripture
God’s Word is our foundation.
We believe Scripture is living and true, and that it is essential for knowing God, understanding His truth, and being equipped to live faithfully. We seek to be a church anchored in Scripture, allowing God's Word to shape our beliefs, our lives, and our community.
-
Finished Work, Not Religious Performance
We are saved by grace through faith—not by what we can accomplish for God.
The finished work of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our relationship with God. Grace reminds us that we come to Christ not because we have earned our place, but because He has done for us what we could never do for ourselves.
We want to live from the freedom of grace rather than striving through religious performance.
-
Transformation, Not Consumer Christianity
Following Jesus means becoming more like Jesus.
Discipleship is not simply attending church or consuming Christian content. It is a lifelong journey of following Christ, being transformed by His Word, and learning to obey Him.
We desire to make disciples who know Christ, walk with Christ, and help others follow Christ.
-
Dependence Upon God
Prayer is an expression of our dependence upon God.
We believe the Church is called to seek God first—not relying on our own strength, wisdom, or ability. Through prayer, we bring our needs, decisions, families, church, and mission before Him, trusting Him to lead and provide.
We pray because we need Him.
-
A Family, Not an Audience
The Church is a family.
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone. We desire to cultivate a community where people can belong, grow, serve, encourage, and walk through life together.
We want Grace to be more than a place people attend on Sunday. We want it to be a spiritual family where Christ is honoured and people genuinely care for one another.n
-
Outward Looking
The Gospel was never meant to stop with us.
Because we have received the grace of Christ, we are called to make Him known. We desire to be a church that looks beyond itself—serving our community, caring for people, sharing the Gospel, and making disciples.
We gather to be strengthened, and we go to make Christ known.
THIS IS OUR DNA
Christ at the centre.
The Word as our foundation.
Grace as our freedom.
Discipleship as our calling.
Prayer as our dependence.
Community as our family.
Mission as our outward expression.
Everything comes back to Jesus Christ and Him crucified—and our desire is that in all things, He may have the preeminence.
